How to handle Doubt

I have been talking about doubt with a lot of clients and friends this week.

Some personal development mentors say that doubt is useless and a way we waste our own time and energy.

While I think this is true 99% of the time, when you deny feelings of doubt or try "squish it" as one of my brilliant clients said, you rob you of the opportunity to find out what's really going on.

If you haven't noticed, your brain isn't a fan of changing the status quo.

And right now especially, our global status quo has changed.

Your brain is on high alert and is likely going to have some huge objections to doing ANYTHING new right now, especially if your partner isn't on the same page about it.

When you feel doubt come up and your brain starts up with a list of arguments about the new thing you are about to embark on or invest in ask yourself this:

If I figure this out and I reach the goal I set out to achieve here, will this step into the unknown have been worth it?

Will it be worth the time, money, energy or whatever else I need to invest in order to get there?

Your answer to those two questions will tell you everything you need to know.
