Self-care or what I like to call self-investing, is one of those things we all know we should be doing and yet most of us don’t.
The main reason I hear from my clients is that there is always a list of things to be done and people who want their time and attention.
So the thought of carving out even an hour a week for most people leads them to feel guilty (especially the entrepreneurs).

- 2x 1 hour yoga
- 5x 45 minute sauna sessions (I might read or meditate while I am in there or just listen to music)
- 90 minute massage
- 2 Life Coaching sessions (yes, I have more than one coach)
- 2 walks in nature alone
In addition to this list, I also listen to my body when it needs sleep or rest (I use an Oura ring that tracks my sleep and heart rate and I adjust my schedule based on that data + how I am feeling
That's over 16 hours of things just for ME
And while we often highlight the side effect of self-investing as having a the positive impact on your business and personal life, that isn’t the ultimate purpose.
Self-investment is a gift you give yourself simply because you know you are worth that time and space in your own life, and you are claiming it as your own.
