Find Out What Babysteps + Thought Work Can Do

Welcome to the Off The Backburner Challenge

Here's the Deal:

Earlier this week I was looking at my calendar and realized that while I have become incredibly efficient with my time, I haven’t been making time for something that is really important to me. woman-multitasking_925x

Seriously, I get more done in 15 hours a week than most people get done in 40, BUT as a parent with only a few pockets of time to work on my business each week, I have to be twice as mindful about what I do and when I do it.

I realized that while I have been making a lot of time for the things that are urgent and important: my clients, creating my podcast etc. I haven’t been devoting any time to a project that I planned to have ready for the Fall.

You can probably relate. Maybe:

  • You want to work on your novel, but your family needs to eat tonight
  • You want to make it to your yoga mat every day, but the snooze button seems to win morning after morning
  • You have a hobby, artistic project or a pile of books you want to read and they are just collecting dust on the shelf

The thing is if you aren’t managing your mind and paying attention to how you use your precious time and energy, it is very unlikely that you will ever get to these things that are important to you, but not as urgent as all the other day to day events and responsibilities.

So I have created something for you:

It's called the “Off the Backburner Challenge”

watching-the-sunset_925xHere is how it works:

1. Pick ONE thing you want to do for yourself but can’t seem to find the time for in your daily life.

It could be: yoga, meditation, writing, art, reading, exercise, cooking, learning a new skill It can be anything as long as you can do it daily for 15 min. for 3 weeks

2. For the next 3 weeks, I challenge you to put 15 minutes on your calendar every single day and do that thing.

3. I will support you via weekly emails every step of the way as you meet your challenge (and how to keep going without drama if you miss a day).

Optional 4. At least once a week snap a picture of you doing your thing or share a tidbit of what you are creating and share it on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #otbbchallenge - There are prizes to be won for those of you who do!

What makes this different from other challenges?

It looks simple, but as those of you who have done something like this before know, if it were simple you would already be doing it.

The reason this challenge is different is that I am going to support you and help you reveal the things that have been in your way and I will be sharing my candid experience with you.

You are going to see my ups and downs and see the process in action (not just pretty pictures with a nice quote).

BUT you have to sign up to get the email support and be counted in the prize draw. There will also be some and the other fun, free surprises I have for you along the way.

The Off the Back Burner Challenge is free, fun and only going to take 15 minutes a day so if you are in just pop your email into the form on this page and I will send you everything you need to get started on Monday!
