I have a treat for all the new parents or soon-to-be parents out there. Ep 25: Facing Insecurity

Has this ever happened to you? Someone says something (likely coming from a harmless place), you start to think some thoughts about it that create the feeling of being insecure. This happened to me recently and I decided to do an experiement on how to handle it. Instead of: yelling at the other person, bursting into tears, pretending nothing was wrong, eating a box of cookies, telling all my friends about it, shaming myself for feeling insecure, holding a grudge for the next 5 years or doing any of the things one does in the face of an emotion I don't like I did something totally new and processed the emotion in a way that taught me a lot. If you want to learn how to do this for yourself, I would love to be your guide.

Ep 23: Your Coaching Questions Answered

I work mainly with one-on-one clients and small groups as a Life Coach. However, a big goal of mine is to help as many people as possible learn the power of managing their minds. Because of that I like to offer all sorts of free things (like this podcast) and last week I put out the call to all of you to send me a problem or issue you are dealing with and I would coach you. Today, I answered some questions about dealing with a child's feeling about spending time with her dad and a yoga teacher's relationship with a client who shows up late, doesn't accept help and is disruptive in class.
